    Computer-Based Testing (CBT) program was launched for years to give testtakers the options of taking computerized version of test. The application which genarate academic score is developed as a server-side with Adobe Flash. Flash is well known as a powerful and dynamic front-end for the Web. However, Flash is also great interface for server-side applications. PHP can launch server-side script using Flash as a front-end and pass variables back and forth between Flash and the PHP pages. Along with PHP, MySQL can be used to store data and later retrieve it. Using Flash as a front-end, data and variables are passed between the MySQL database, PHP, and Flash to enchance aplication's functionality in managing databases

    he synthesis of two stable platinum(IV) complexes containing methoxo ligand, [Pt(CH3)2(OCH3)(OH)py2] (1) and fac-[Pt(CH3)2(OCH3)(H2O)3] (2), has been successfully performed. Complex 1 was prepared by oxidative addition reaction of cis-[Pt(CH3)2py2] with dry methanol, and a subsequent reaction of 1 with 70 % HClO4 in water produced the platinum complex 2. The stability of complex 2 in acidic aqueous solution was investigated and monitored with 1H and 195Pt NMR.     Pada era sekarang ini, banyak dikembangkan sistem pembangkit listrik dengan menggunakan tenaga gelombang air laut. Untuk mendapatkan sistem yang efisien dalam penerapan sistem pembangkit listrik dimana semakin besar putaran yang dihasilkan maka semakin besar output daya yang didapatkan. .Simulasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kapasitas, tekanan, dan kecepatan fluida sehingga dapat menghasilkan output yang tinggi sesuai dengan bentukan sudut bandul yang sudah direncanakan. Pada simulasi ini divariasikan sudut bandul ponton (20°,25°,30°,35°,40°). dengan rancangan ini akan dihasilkan putaran terendah 1790.148 rpm dan daya sebesar 44. 65 kW pada variasi sudut bandul ponton 20° serta putaran tertinggi 1922.185 rpm dan daya sebesar 73.69 kW pada variasi sudut bandul ponton 20°

    Anticancer Activity Study of Modified Artocarpin Compound from Pudau Plant (Artocarpus kemando Miq.)

    This research is a continuation of the successful isolation of artocarpin from the root of Artocarpus kemando Miq reported in our previous study. In the previous study, the artocarpin was characterized with UV-Vis and FTIR techniques. In this follow-up investigation, the artocarpin was subjected to a transesterification reaction using acetic anhydride and pyridine as catalysts, and the product of the reaction was specified as compound 1. The compound 1 was further characterized with different techniques to gain more complete data and then tested for anticancer activity test against P-388 murine leukemia cells. Characterizations of the compound 1 using 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR techniques suggest that the modification reaction resulted in the conversion of the -OH groups at C2' and 4' at the artocarpin molecule to -OOCH3, and based on the MS analysis, the compound was proposed to have the molecular formula of C30H32O8. Another important feature of compound 1 that should be noted is the significant improvement in stability compared to the unmodified artocarpin. Anticancer activity tests against P-388 murine leukemia cells revealed that compound 1 has an IC50of 2.35 µg/mL, confirming that the compound is categorized as an active anticancer agent and suggesting that the compound has promising potential that deserves further investigations. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2023-07-03-05 Full Text: PD

    Studi Perbandingan Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Dua Senyawa Organotimah(IV) 3-Hidroksibenzoat

    Senyawa organotimah(IV) karboksilat dan semua turunannya menunjukan aktivitas biologi sangat kuat dan dikenal memiliki aktivitas penghambatan yang tinggi bahkan pada konsentrasi yang sangat rendah sehingga golongan senyawa ini sangat menarik untuk terus dipelajari. Melanjutkan keberhasilan dalam sintesis senyawa organotimah(IV) karboksilat pada beberapa penelitian sebelumnya, dalam makalah ini kami laporkan hasil sintesis senyawa difeniltimah(IV) di-(3-hidroksibenzoat) dan trifeniltimah(IV) 3-hidroksibenzoat dari bahan awal senyawa difeniltimah(IV) oksida dan trifeniltimah(IV) hidroksida dengan ligan asam 3-hidroksibenzoat . Senyawa hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi dengan beberapa teknik spektroskopi dan mikroanalisis unsur. Hasil analisis menunjukan kedua senyawa hasil sintesis memiliki kemurnian yang baik dengan waktu refluks 4 jam dan nilai persen rendemen berturut-turut 92,66% dan 88,60%

    For workers, the issue of Termination of Employment (PHK) is a complex problem, because it has a relationship with economic and psychological problems. Economic problems due to layoffs will cause loss of income, while psychological problems are related to the loss of one's status. On a broader scale, it can propagate into unemployment and crime problems. This is of course contrary to the ideals of the founding of the Republic of Indonesia as stated in the 1945 Constitution. Article 27 states “Every citizen has the right to work and a decent living for humanity. The purpose of this study is to find out the process of resolving layoffs on the grounds that efficiency has been determined by Law Number 2 of 2004 concerning Settlement of Industrial Relations Disputes, knowing the arguments regarding legal protection of workers' rights as compensation for layoffs can be seen in Decision Number 370 /Pdt.Sus-PHI/2020/PN.Jkt.Pst. In writing this thesis, descriptive method is used, namely normative legal research. Normative legal research is research by only processing and using secondary data. The results of the research on the Settlement of Termination of Employment for reasons are not regulated by Law Number 2 of 2004 concerning Settlement of Industrial Relations Disputes, only for the settlement of disputes over layoffs in general. In principle, the settlement of layoffs, especially layoffs for reasons of efficiency, must first be resolved through a deliberation process for consensus between the two parties without the intervention of a third party (tripartie), if it fails, then proceed by means of mediation. The next process is continued through mediation. If the bipartie settlement and mediation also fail, then consolidation will be continued. If there is no result in this case, then the process will be continued by going through the litigation process. The legal protection of the rights of workers/laborers as compensation for layoffs must be paid by the employer based on the type of layoff that occurred to the worker/labourer concerned. If we look at the case in Decision Number 370/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2020/PN.Jkt.Pst. That there has been a termination of employment at pt. Pulau intan bajaperkasa construction which in the decision of the Court of Industrial Relations and in the decision of the Supreme Court, gave a decision rejecting all claims filed by the plaintiff.Keywords: Employment, Termination of Employment, Work Agreement Deadlin

    Developing Mathematics Mobile Game to Enhance Learning for Children

    Abstract— The goal of this research is developing a multimrdia based mobile application, specially a mathematics mobile game for elementary school. This learning model should encourage student’s ability to learn mathematics particularly numbers. This research consists of seven steps according to Borg & Gall named Research & Development, such as research and preliminary information collecting, planning, developing preliminary product, preliminary testing, preliminary product revision, main field testing, and operational product revision. The research method is combined with Multimesia Development Life Cycle according to Luther. Subjects matter expert of the research are education, visual communication and information technology experts in preliminary field testing, and elementary school students for implementation in main field testing. The data were analyzed using the analytic descriptive method and interpreted based on the narrative way as research findings. This mathematics mobile game is very useful to support teachers, it can be used for self-learning and provide motivation to learn mathematics.     Pelatihan Analisis Air Sumur Gali dan Sumur Bor di Kompleks Bataranila Hajimena Natar Lampung Selatan

    ABSTRAK Telah dilaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan analisis air, khususnya  analisis N-amonia pada sumur gali dan sumur bor di Kompleks Perumahan Bataranila Desa Hajimena Kecamatan Natar Lampung Selatan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang kesehatan melalui analisis sifat fisika-kimia air yang digunakan sehari-hari dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan penduduk tentang cara analisis kandungan amoniak dalam air secara mudah dan sederhana menggunakan metode kolorimetri. Materi yang disajikan pada kegiatan ini meliputi berbagai jenis air, persyaratan air minum, beberapa parameter air tercemar atau tidak, pengaruh berbagai kandungan kimia dalam air terhadap kesehatan, dan pelatihan secara singkat analisis N-amoniak dalam air. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, serta metode analisis kuantitatif kadar N-amoniak dalam air.  Sedangkan rancangan evaluasi yang digunakan meliputi evaluasi awal, evaluasi proses, dan evaluasi akhir.  Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini telah berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat Bataranila tentang kualitas air secara umum dan cara cepat analisis kandungan N-amoniak dalam air.Kata kunci: Pelatihan Analisis Air, N-amoniak, Kolorimetri ABSTRACT The training of water analysis training activities has been performed, especially in the analysis of N-ammonia in dug and drilled wells at Perumahan Bataranila, Hajimena, Natar District, South Lampung. This training aims to improve the understanding of health through analysis of the physico-chemical properties of water used daily and to increase the knowledge and skills of residents on how to easily and simply analyze ammonia content in water using the colorimetric method. The material presented in this activity includes various types of water, drinking water requirements, several parameters of polluted or unpolluted water, the effect of various chemical constituents in water on health, and brief training on the analysis of N-ammonia in water. The activity method used is the lecture method and question and answer method, as well as the method of quantitative analysis of N-ammonia levels in water. While the evaluation design used includes initial evaluation, process evaluation, and final evaluation. The evaluation results show that this activity has succeeded in increasing the knowledge of the Bataranila community about water quality in general and how to quickly analyze the N-ammonia content in water.Keywords: Water Analysis Training, N-ammonia, Colorimetr
